Hunter Cole while traveling with the G3 Sportsman, landed this massive 101 pound alligator gar on the Trinity River in Texas. Navigating this prehistoric river in their G3 1966CC Deluxe, Hunter used carp and buffalo on a Shakespeare Powerod and Penn Slammer spinning reel armed with 150lb Spiderwire braid! The beast put up quite a fight and was tagged and released back where he came.
