Hi, my name is Mercer Clark and I am from Columbus, Georgia. Yesterday on April 23rd 2016 two of my friends and I came to fish Lake Martin and stay at my friends house. While fishing yesterday afternoon, I pulled in a slough in my G3 bass boat, and threw a cast towards a dock. The fishing has been great around docks this time of year. The dock was floating in deep water. On the first cast, I had a hit on my Senko watermelon worm, and set the hook-it felt like a stump. I saw the fish come to the surface and upon first look, I didn't think it was a largemouth because it was so big. I reeled the fish in and landed her in the boat. She weighed in at under 10 pounds.
