I recently had a really great trip to my home Lake Berryessa, CA. The first cast of the day produced a 9.2 lb Bass :-) A nice start. A few casts later, I stuck a 10.3 lber. 9s are close, but 10s count! :-)
A little bit after that, a fish hits my swimbait that just feels too big to be a bass. After a 10 minute battle, I bring an 18.9 lb Channel cat to the boat that had inhaled my 8 swimbait !
However, I had saved the best catch for last. About and hour later, I stuck a beautiful 11.5 lb Largemouth.
Talk about getting spoiled. It wouldn't take too many trips like this to just flat ruin me :-)
