Name: Brad DurickLocation: Grand Forks, ND Boat: 1966 DLX CC Motor: Yamaha F115 About Matt: Captain Brad grew up on a farm in Northwest North Dakota. Growing up on a farm the outdoors was very special but fishing was not a high priority in the Durick household. Just after graduating with a degree in marketing from the University of North Dakota was when Brad really discovered his love of fishing. (It might be because it was more fun and replaced farm chores) Captain Brad started out catching walleyes on the famed Devils Lake, North Dakota but soon gravitated to the power and verocity of the trophy channel catfish of the Red River of the North. Once he learned that catfishing was his love, he spent years on the water learning the ways of the channel cat and practicing guiding techniques on friends to make sure when the day came customers would have the best possible experience on the water. After earning his Coast Guard Captains license in 2007, Brad Durick Outdoors LLC was born and quickly grew to one of the busiest guide services on the Red. The goal of Brad Durick Outdoors LLC is to "guide" people to the fish but also to teach them the methods behind catching the fish as well as enlighten them on the glorious history of the Red River Valley and how it has evolved over the past two centuries. The bottom line of the experience of fishing with Captain Brad is in the tag line "Catching Memories One Hook Set At A Time" These are words to live by as anyone whether age 6 or 60 will feel like a kid after they land that fish of a lifetime, even if only for a minute. "It is an honor and a privilege to be part of the G3 family. If you would like to learn more about me, the catfish, or the Mighty Red River of the North, visit the web at www.braddurick.com. I provide updated fishing reports, trophy channel catfish photos and information about how we can fish together in my G3 and catch your memory." -- Captain Brad Durick |
