He has fished a number of tournaments and considers bass fishing one of his passions. He is currently fishing the FLW Stren series and is the president of the Missouri T.B.F. Bass Federation. From 1988-2003 Dan was a member of the Bass Anglers Sportman Society, and from 1991 to 1992 he was the president of the West Central IL Bassmasters. Following that, Dan moved to the position of state team member of the IL Bassmasters and has been a member of the Benton county Bass Anglers and at one time the president. Dan attended the Carl Sandburg Community College where he received his law enforcement certificate. Dan has been in the United Sates Marine Corp and enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
