Name: Scott Witkop Location: Duluth MN Boat: Angler V 185F Motor: F200TXR About Scott: Scott Witkop and his wife Amy live in Duluth MN. They have raised four children; Matt, Cassie, Lee, and Rikki. Scott's transition to a pro was no surprise to his family who figured it was just a matter of time. Second only to his family, is his passion for walleye fishing. "It's not bad having a job doing what you love to do" says Scott who has always wanted to be a pro fisherman. Scott began Walleye fishing when he was 16 years old when his parents bought a fishing resort in the Detroit Lakes/Park Rapids area of Minnesota. It was there that he discovered walleyes and walleye fishing. "I fell in love with the sport. Since then I have pursued walleyes from Arkansas to Manitoba, Montana to Michigan, and Colorado to Ontario, and all points in between." Scott believes his strength in this sport is that he can find walleyes in a myriad of impoundments and he can usually coax a few into the boat. Scott doesn't feel he really has any "home waters" since he has been chasing Walleye anywhere and everywhere his whole life but he also believes that will ultimately prove invaluable as his career progresses. Scott has great pride in being a part of Team G3.
